Jamaica continues to dominate the cranberry juice market. Distributor of Ocean Spray's brands, Wisynco Group Limited, said it has brought in one million cases of the beverage to make Jamaica the largest consumption market per capita, giving Wisynco 80 per cent of the cranberry juice market.

Manufacturing and distribution company Wisynco Group Limited, is to open its second Domino Pizza airport store at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston next week, growing the chain to eight. The move is part of group managing director William Mahfood's efforts to grow the restaurant side of the company's operations to about 15 per cent of total business.
Mahfood said he chose the airports first to expand the chain because of the high volume of traffic.

DIRECTOR of the Wisynco Group of companies, William Mahfood, says that if the Jamaica Labour Party-led government agrees to use a portion of its earnings from the environmental levy to finance recycling centres around the island, as much as 50 per cent of plastic waste could be recovered from the environment.

THE JAMAICA Independent Schools Association (JISA) Preparatory Schools track and field championships have received a boost as WISYNCO Group Limited, through its affiliate brand Bigga Soft Drinks, has raised the bar by sponsoring this year's competition to the tune of $1 million. The partnership between Bigga and the JISA was sealed in a launch of the competition yesterday at the Altamont Court Hotel, New Kingston.

Wisynco Group through its Bigga soft drink will sponsor this year's 69th running of the Jamaica Oaks with a $1,000,000 contribution to purses.
The event will be known as the Bigga Jamaica Oaks to be run over 2,000 metres for a purse of $2.7 million at Caymanas Park on April 26.

The Mahfoods' Wisynco Group Limited has bought out local Wendy's franchise operator, Wendico Jamaica, from Paul Issa, who introduced the brand locally in 1999.
